Is there anyone out there with a clue as to why MSFS update is stuck on this update??? Some ideas would be helpful.

I would recommend:

  • look for those 3 files in the corresponding MSFS folder (sorry don’t know where they are downloaded with the steam version) and * delete them
  • if you have an antivirus, temporarily disable it
  • start the sim, download should start again and hopefully it will complete

For those who do not have a clue, like me. AND because of lack of assistance from the community - Follow these steps I discovered.

DELETE MSFS using the CONTROL PANEL “Programs and Featrures”

Then go to -
c:users/your name/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft Flight simulator.
DELETE this folder “Microsoft Flight Simulator”.

I then restarted my computer then opened STEAM and downloaded MSFS (this is a full download - you are starting again - so it will take a while) Problem is then solved.
