3 continuous crashes with FBW Airbus A320 after SU 8

Hi. I had after SU 8 three continuous crashes with fbw 32X. Do you have the same experience? Do we have to wait for update of FBW Airbus 320?

it needs an update probably.

I guess this is why we must empty our community folder on each update and never trust that any addons will work properly.

Just tested the FBW and it loaded fine for me with no crash. I also follow my set procedure for all sim updates by having an empty community folder and no rolling cache.

Make sure you have the latest development version and no mods or liveries.

Past experience says that there will be a few days of “unpredictability” after an update - I don’t try anything too serious for a short while until everybody has finished updating!

I’m right now checking the latest version (if you use stable try latest dev or exp). So far no CTD.

Just completed a 3 hours flight with the FBW320 experimental version from Budapest to Madrid. No crashes or anomilies. If you haven’t done so already, make sure to delete the rolling cache after FWB updates. I experienced trouble with that before I made it my update routine, but never again since.

2 crashes for me - on preflight setup then again 40 mins into a flight. Prior to UD8 the performance and reliability were so great, I thought to myself ‘finally, awesome!’ but unfortunately, no.

Hi. With FBW A320? If so, I found a solution to this problem.

If your problem is with msfs crash, if you fly with fbw a320, that was the problem I had too. I renamed my community folder for this, then reinstalled the fbw a320 new, in new and empty community folder, then I reinstalled the scenery that I wanted to fly there, then I reinstalled the utility add ons like FPS counter again, then my problem has been solved with ctd. Then I repeated same thing in the old community renamed folder, problem is solved.

So, I updated my GeForce driver and did a clean re install of the FBW 320. An hour flight went no problem. Oddly enough, performance after landing was terrible. Frame rates dropped considerably. I’ve never had an issue with that before.

I’ve always had pre flight load crashes with the FBW A320.
Not a huge A320 fan so I just stick to default when I get the itch.

And with Rolling cash? empty and off?
