So after a long medium cargo mission in the Cessna Caravan to runway 24 at 33NR I’m faced with a 3000ft runway with trees blocking the descent. I crashed out and lost a fortune. I then tried repeating it in free flight and wasn’t able to manage it after another 3 attempts. Maybe I’m just not a good pilot but this is not an easy one and if this is only a 2 stars difficulty mission I’ll eat my hat. It’s just wrong and this kind of thing nonsense absolutely spoils the whole experience. I must have spent 3 hours plus on this and got nothing from it except bills, and through no real fault of my own. Not happy.

Just managed it after about 10 attempts. :roll_eyes:

I gave it a try in a Dash 7 and it seemed ok to me.

Sorry about your issues, the Grand Caravan can land just about anywhere.

Yeah I managed it in the end. Was having problems with the reverse throttle too so changed the settings so it’s toggled rather than held.
I guess I just need to be a lot more careful in future but it was a tough landing when you’ve never seen it before. Having said that, if the trees hadn’t been there I’d probably have landed it ok first time. I did check the runway using the Free Cam before accepting the mission but just didn’t see them. :roll_eyes:
