[3rd Party Aircraft] Security concerns regarding 3rd party aircraft

Recently, Windows Defender & Malwarebytes flagged a file in my MSFS community folder; that of which was an .exe for a 3rd party aircraft, the DC Designs F15 planes.

When can files in my MSFS folder… randomly run? At the time of the detections, I hadn’t launched MSFS in over a month, so it wasn’t like I opened the EXE or anything.

Does this happen often? Could this be a false positive? Should I be concerned?

That looks like an installer, so shouldn’t be in your community folder to begin with - you can just leave it in Downloads or delete it after installation.

I will note there have been reports recently of Windows Defender giving a similar warning on the recently updated installer for the RV-14 from another vendor.
