3rd party Itchen Bridge (UK) gone AWOL

The excellent Itchen Bridge, by RKBridger, has ceased to appear in the last few iterations of MSFS24 Beta. At least, seemingly not in the UK.

I have been in touch with the developer, who is able to see the bridge (from Eastern USA), and we have tried everything we can think of to make it reappear in the UK (Western Europe server), without success.

The developer is convinced that this is an MS/Asobo issue and has suggested that I let MS know.

I apologise if this is not the right part of the forum, as there does not seem to be a suitable mechanism for alerting MS to something that is technically a third-party add-on, albeit purchased through the Marketplace.

Help in resolving this would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Weird issue since server option is only related to multiplayer session and not scenery streaming.
If you connect to the Eastern USA server are you able to see the bridge ?.

Disclaimer: I am an RK Bridger customer myself

RK Bridger’s products are sold on the Marketplace correct? Is this one of them?

If so, he has contacts in Microsoft to advise of this potential defect or request assistance from MS/Asobo. All Marketplace-approved Third Party Developers do.

I’ve tried the other server (with multiplayer turned on, so that I had a choice), but it did not work for me then either.

The developer did not initially experience this but has subsequently had a similar problem; he could see the bridge but also the cars running underneath, in the water.

I only see the cars running underneath and no bridge.

He is now getting in touch with MS, including pictures of both his experience and mine.

The problem has been solved by using the Package Reorder Tool and moving the package below the Microsoft Point of Interest packages and Asobo TravelBook packages.

However this brings up another issue:

I have never needed to use the tool unless I had a conflict with another developer. Now it appears that Microsoft Point of Interest packages and Asobo TravelBook packages have higher priority and cause conflicts. That priority does not seem correct.

The whole idea of Third party products is to improve the sim so they should have the highest priority (lowest on the list). MS and Asobo packages with higher priority than third party products defeat the purpose.

Hopefully someone at MS/Asobo will read this and re-arrange the priorities.

Thanks again - Great to have the bridge back!
