3rd Party program cannot connect to MSFS

My OnAir airline manager program can not detect a loaded aircraft in the simulator, after troubleshooting with them we discovered that Simvar Watcher can not connect either. Is this a Simconnect issue? There doesn’t seem to be any information on how to troubleshoot the issue further.

Any smart people out there have any suggestions?

Does the program require the FSUPIC module? A lot of 3rd party programs use FSUPIC. You can download the free basic version which works with everything or buy the upgraded version which allows you to change/map different bindings etc.
