4070ti users, what settings do you use?

My fellow VR 4070ti users, I’ve been fiddling around with my settings quite a lot, but can’t quite yet find the balance between AA and FPS. DLSS + Quality gives me quite good FPS, but DLSS + DLAA tanks my fps, but the AA is definetly better.

Help a brother out and please do share your settings and performance!

Hi,

As for me, you should unlock DLSS “Ultra Quality” with the lastest DLSS DLL + Oculus Debug Tools with ASW enabled 45 FPS.

Works perfectly for me on heavy airports add-on, Fenix A320 and of course FSLTL Traffic.

Difficult to help you if you don’t specify your headset. Each headset requires different settings and resolution. Also CPU matters.

Quest 2 using Virtual Desktop

How did you get Ultra Quality for AA? My MSFS runs on DX12 and I’ve swapped both DLLs to DLSS 3.5, but I can’t get the setting to pop up…

I can’t seem to get Ultra Quality unlocked even though I’m on the latest DLLs and drivers. Any tips?

A lot of stuff goes ito tinkering with this stuff.

It’s a bit tricky: https://youtu.be/ur_uKxrOSMU?si=Oe9sRWtja1r4Lzx2&t=609.

I prefer to use Preset C, which is sharper than commonly advised Preset F.

Yeah I’ve tried this, but those red-circled Nvidia Inspector options don’t appear for me. I’ve got the latest drivers and Nvidia Inspector… Can’t seem to find a solution anywhere

Just a comment: You should activate and set the rBAR options in the Common section.

I`m too in the same situation (RTX3080ti). Tried DX11 and DX12!!! The DLSS Preset is not showing in nvidia Inspector.
I have read somewhere either setting Game Mode in windows will make it appear or de selecting Game mode will make it appear!!! (Not sure this will work though!!!)

Any help??

There is one more thing to do. Download CustomSettingNames-DLSS.zip from DLSS related settings added · Issue #156 · Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector · GitHub and extract it to your nvidiaProfileInspector folder.

rBAR options should not be activated in the global profile as some applications/games may not be compatible, potentially affecting performance. I have rBAR activated in the MSFS profile but haven’t seen any evidence that it influences MSFS performance.

sure, that´s why, as mentioned in the attached video, the MSFS profile should be used to modify the settings.

Hi,

There is no proof rBAR affect or not MSFS. As for me, enabled or not, I have exactly same performance (4070ti).

According Nvidia offcial page, only this games are supported :
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Battlefield V
Borderlands 3
Control
Cyberpunk 2077
Death Stranding
DIRT 5
F1 2020
Forza Horizon 4
Gears 5
Godfall
Hitman 2
Hitman 3
Horizon Zero Dawn
Metro Exodus
Red Dead Redemption 2
Watch Dogs Legion

That list is from March 2021.

Except of the DLSS settings, which must be applied globally, otherwise ignored.

This fixed it, thanks so much

Yeah you’re right, but unfortunately this list is up to date !

RBar looks like a RTX 3000 technology abandoned by Nvidia during the transition to the RTX 4000 generation in favor of DLSS / DLAA technologies.
