ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
I’m currently on a 1.5 hour passenger flight in a 737 max 8, and twice now the autopilot has randomly tried to kill by putting me into a random steep left bank. The route on my map shows as perfectly straight, so the autopilot isn’t trying to adjust course, it’s just straight up trying to F-ing murder me and my passengers.
I knew there’s a reason i started choosing flight number 404
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE:
This is the second time in this one flight that I’ve looked up from my phone in the nick of time to save my plane from a death roll. I initially redownloaded the beta to avoid the constant low memory issues making airliners unusable, and the sim gods seem to be looking for new ways to mess with me ![]()
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issuse
Honestly not sure… For me I just loaded into 1.5 hour flight in the default 737 max 8, took off, and began climbing to FL350. The first instance i was alerted by a passenger complaint of turbulence and noticed the roll occurring on a straight leg. The second time I happened to look up at the right moment and catch it doing the same thing. It seems to be completely random. Lnav is green, auto throttle is green and functional, everything’s looking good otherwise.
