I think they should give the user the choice and if there are reasons why it can’t be done then I want them to be plain about. We should also be able to adjust the lighting ourselves on all platforms.
One more thing (as Columbo might say) - I do not believe there are 64 layers actively being used. XP can make very thin layers and if they said they had 64 layers I would have no problem believing it but not so with FS(either version). Cloud layers are never less than a few thousand feet thick that Ive seen.
