I picked it up. Quite creative work, but I’m waiting on my VR headset to arrive before I kick the tires much.

Picked this up yesterday and took for a quick flight. It’s a very fun bird to fly.

Just try not to take it too seriously and you’ll have a blast.

I finally had opportunity to fly this beastie tonight and I really love it!!

You can tell there was a lot of fun and love had in the creation of it. It goes beyond in so many ways, with a whole load of nice little touches it is hard to cover it all and I would not want to spoil the surprise for future owners, but main things I loved:

  • Flies really nicely - capable, but not ridiculous.

  • Cockpit is not too wild - the layout is similar to what you would expect, but has a great flavour to it with TONS of easter eggs to find, and brilliant animations / lighting + features I have never seen before like 0-100% adjustable tint of the canopy! The fold-out widescreen instrument display is awesome! There are dozens of other things that are full of fun.

  • The modelling and actual design of this fantasy vehicle are superb! It is gorgeous! Some very creative animations of control surfaces. Top notch! :+1:

  • The wing flex is amazing - especially in VR I guess, it just feels like a real canvas ‘material’ covering these weird wings but it is really realistically done and utterly convincing.

  • The sounds are great. And there are a LOT of them (won’t mention too much as there are unique surprises to discover within this subject!)

  • I love the little robot dog partner - so cute!

  • Did I mention the animations? Canopy opening, speed brake, “flaps”, many more surprises! DON’T PRESS THE RED BUTTON!

This is a GREAT effort and definitely lucky that I have her in my glider hangar now! Your first product? Bring it on! I am a fan!

I was in the same flight. I am so glad I bought the T1. Truly great effort. I love it. It is so different to everything I’ve flown in the sim yet somehow it feels right. To all of you who think this is a gimmick and too unrealistic to bother - trust me, give it a go. It flies very nicely with so many nice touches. 100% recommendation from me :slightly_smiling_face:
Congrats 61Tree! Can’t wait for your next project

Darn it! I swore I wouldn’t buy another plane until after FS24 is released.

Some footage of it has released. Does that count?

It’s an interesting concept that shows the potential of the sim platform. I assume you visited the mothership. I’m not sure what planet that was, but pretty cool I say.

A truely beautiful aircraft.

Can’t wait for the new nav and autopilot features. It will make a great tourer.

This aircraft is just the right balance of realistic and sci-fi for me.

Thanks, currently working on the autopilot, hopefully will be finished in the next few days and then going to work on some fixes and other new features.

I uploaded an update v1.45 with the new autopilot feature but it had a major bug which I didn’t notice. When spawning for a new flight, the autopilot is partially engaged, making the elevator trim unusable. I uploaded this morning v1.46 which corrects that bug but it’s still waiting approval from flightsim.to, could take a few days. In the meantime a quick fix is to hit the Z key before taking off. If you purchased from simmarket. com, v1.46 has already been approved and available for download. Kindly post here any bug reports or email me and I’ll do my best to correct them as soon as possible. Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience.

Robi, your work on this aircraft is truely amazing. Can’t wait to see what else comes up.

A few bugs our bound to happen but the speed at which you fix them, is an example to other devs.

I haven’t checked out the latest version but if I could see one improvement and that’s the quality of the wheels. I don’t spend much time looking at them but when I’m in external view they do look slightly low poly, a bit more round would be great.

Thank you! The wheels are actually fairly high poly, it could be the design is a little misleading. If you zoom in and raise and lower the gear you’ll see that they build themselves by expanding nested wedges around the wheel. It’s my own future sci-fi tech design. Maybe a bit far fetched but I like far fetched. Easier shown than explained, wheel.mp4 - Google Drive

i bought this earlier today and have really enjoyed it so far. i am super impressed with all the cool little features, textures and sounds. plus it’s a great glider to boot!

i previously had purchased all your liveries for the rans s6s (quite some time ago) and was super excited to see you had gone a step further and built an aircraft!

Thank you! Glad you enjoy it.

Fair enough Robi. I take it back.

Thanks for sharing the design, yeah the slightly jaggerdy edge makes sense now.

When there’s a good reason for something…it makes all the difference.

Keep up the fantastic work.

It could be that there is still a bug with the autopilot. After you are airborne and click on the AUTOPILOT text, the text should turn cyan and the circle behind it. When it changes color, the aircraft should level out and you should then be able to either select NAV or click on an arrow or drag a slider for HDG or ALT and they should turn cyan activating those modes. Also, if Lilly (AI voice) is turned on, she speaks when the AP is toggled on or off. If the colors don’t change when clicking or they change but the autopilot isn’t actually working, tap the Z key and see if everything works. I appreciate any feedback.
