I think the best is to sell the 737 with massive loss now (bought for 90 million, I can sale it now for 50 million only), and wait until MSFS team has balanced their career model accordingly … I would love to fly the 737 as a freelancer, but under the current environment this is simply not possible unfortunately …
If you do the checkup and pay the maintenance between each flight you can make millions in the 737.
6hr flight $20mio
Check up and maintenance after that is $2mio max, provided you didn’t bash the plane in that flight

I mean 50M isn’t much of a return, you stand to make a loss of over 40M. If I were you I’d keep the 737. Turn the crew off so it doesn’t generate passive which causes your plane to degrade and with some luck it will become useful to you down the line.

I love my 737’s. Yes the cost is high but no one talks about these moments. Dropped only 505 million during a whole 25 hour cycle for about 116 737’s.

related to the PC24 the 737 is much too expensive, and also the maintenance and repair costs are much to high. I wonder also why I got a 737 with 8 passenger seats only for this money. The earnings are not related to these costs. I hope this inbalance will be fixed soon

We all agree the maintenance costs are crazy. It really needs to be raised by all of us at the next Dev screening.
Regarding the 8 passenger seats - that is the business jet model. The passenger Jet has full seating. Check which mission you picked, (must be airliner mission) although I did not know we could do VIP in the 737. Anyhow, the mission earnings are stated before you pick a mission. Look around for better paying ones.
Transfering it will cost a crazy amount though! Yeah, the whole system needs a rethink in order to be fairer.

on the a321lr the maintenance of the item “general” is 10million less than the price of a new aircraft! whats that all about?
It is a totally unfair system altogether. I and others have repeatedly asked for this to be made fairer. It is ridiculous to make us get new engines around 25 to 50 hours of flying. I don’t think these engines irl even require a service in that many hours let alone a replacement.
the maint costs are overall ok, because also the income is unrealistic high, but i can not understand this “general” thing which costs much like a new aircraft.
I don’t think anyone knows why it is there. It would be good if it was explained or taken away.
After more and more hours of passive I can confirm the B737 is the outlier when it comes the engine replacement and cost
It comes around almost twice as fast and twice as expensive an airbus. I’m going to sell all B737s when I unlock the heavies. It’s not a good plane to fly anyway, and it’s just not worth the maintenance hand holding to avoid the engine issue and unless you are flying 7+hr airliner routes, you will never recover the costs from the 737, you need to turn off AI pilot if you wanna fly another company which earns less
Yep, I sold mine when learning of the expenses.
I have in a wishlist asked for 1 button to turn all employees off so I can utilise whichever plane I want without incurring costs - so that I don’t have to go to each and every of my over 100 planes and turn them on or off each time. I don’t know that anyone has added their vote to it so not much chance of anyone taking notice.
