ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Boeing 737-Max can barely climb out in Career Mode on an Employee Mission. Full throttles, Vr, barely gets off the ground. VNAV mode won’t climb. Have to use V/S and after 20000’, it can’t get above 221 knots and refuses to climb further.

Note - there is no predefined tag for the 737 so I had to include the 787 tag or it wouldn’t let me submit the bug report. This is an issue with the 737 Max, not the 787.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Boeing 737 Max

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
No mods.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time I fly the 737 in Career Mode

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start an Airplane Passenger Transport employee mission with the 737 Max 8
  2. Do all preflight or skip to Taxi and skip to Takeoff.
  3. Full throttle, speed tape shows Vr exceeded (up to 160 knots indicated).
  4. Rotate. Plane barely gets off the runway and can hardly climb.
  5. VNAV won’t climb. V/S climbs, but the higher you get, the weaker the climb until 21000’ it simply won’t climb further. Engines at 86%, stuck at 220 kts and zero vertical speed.

• yes, same issues on career mode - above 20,000 ft with full climb thrust the v/s needs to be 400 ft per minute or lower or you get stick shaker

Even at 400 ft per minute occasionally find the plane entering a full stall with little notice

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• when skipping to descent it also is in a stall scenario

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
• na

Same issue as above

I have the same issue it also goes from 24GB of memory and uses almost all of the 64Gb memory. Clearly a memory leak. It will also cut my GPU 3080TI
Power/use to half as if it’s not there. My cpu i912900k goes from using all chores to less than half. -rediculous

The default trim at spawn is like -4 degrees and you need +5 to take off. It’s not a bug, it’s pilot error.

At career FP’s target 360 FL but 737 Max never reach at it with AP, i tried manually and it stops me once i reach to 340 FL. Speed decrease itself Vnav is not enough with AP. Nothing is working manuel or auto doesnt matter. Is it a but or am i doing something wrong?

• I’ve got extreme performance degradation with Asobo 737Max 8 in career mode. There’s clearly a memory management issue with this plane. After takeoff, the memory usage progressively grow until reaching 100% of available resources when starting the descent phase. No other plane available in career mode shows the same issue so far.
Currently the sim is unplayable when the RAM gets saturated, there’s a huge lag (several seconds) in commands, the framerate stutters and there’s no way to complete the mission. In addition, the only way to close the game after aborting the mission is terminating with task manager.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• My system specs are:
CPU I7 14700KF
RAM 64Gb Kingston Fury Beast DDR5-5800mT/s
SSD 2.0 Tb
Geforce RTX 4090
No third party addons installed, only vanilla game
Flight Simulator 2024 beta SU2 1.4.13.0 (but the issue was present also with standard and SU1 version)
Honeycomb Alpha Joke, Bravo quadrant and Thrustmaster rudder pedals
ms-store
boeing-737
Aviator edition

before landing the occupation was 99%

It is because the plane is fully fuelled up to overflowing for any mission you take with it. Whether it is a 1 hour or 4 hour flight, its carrying enough fuel to fly from Seattle to Frankfurt!
