737 Max N1 readings are different with aligned throttles in manual mode

While using manual throttles and when my throttles are lined up perfectly side by side, N1 is not exactly the same. It might be 82.8%/79.5% and I have to move the right lever forward a smidge. Is this normal?

I am using the Thrustmaster Boeing throttles.

I have calibrated the throttles several times using the Thrustmaster procedure outlined here:

I have noticed that the throw on one throttle (the right throttle) is slightly longer at both ends of the travel. I realize this is a plastic toy, so I can’t expect exacting tolerance levels in the manufacturing process.

I have calibrated both throttles side by side, using the shorter travel distance of the shorter throw throttle (my left throttle) to establish 0% and 100%. This doesn’t help.

Of course the N1 differences are small when the throttle levers are side by side, so there is no yaw effect from differential thrust.

I like to land with manual throttles, so it is impossible to adjust the right throttle lever minutely to have the same N1 as the left engine.

When you fly with autothrottles, and MCP Speed, N1s of course are perfectly matched.

What is your experience?

This issue has now been solved to my overly obsessive satisfaction. Be thankful you are not OCD.
