747 Panel Lights (APU/Engine Fire)

In the upper panel in the 747-8 the “label” lights for the engine/APU fire section do not illuminate at all (see picture)

That is normal. They don’t light up unless there is actually a fire, which is not something that is modelled.

Thanks. I honestly thought there was at least backlighting to see the labels at night (not the actual fire handles lighting up red)

But you are right I just checked some real life pictures, my bad. I have not noticed that before.

No worries. Yea, it definitely is a little odd.
