I can not turn the ILS info on the PFD on Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered: Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
get reading to land with the landing lights on and everything, and the appr on, and the ILS doesn’t display.
Ive seen tutorials that show the ILS functioning perfectly (Drawyahs) and yet it doesnt work for me.
Any ideas on what to try?
Nope, they’re always stated in the charts. And you can google it.
But if you select the arrival pattern and approach in the FMC, it “should” prepopulate the ILS frequency. But if you check it and it’s not there, then you need to enter the frequency manually.
Or you can also try to assign the runway ILS approach from the very beginning in your flight plan, and check in the NAV RAD page. Again to see if the frequency is there. If not, again enter the frequency manually.
If you have Navigraph subscription, you should have access to all of the charts and their ILS frequency Otherwise just do a quick google. Or use this website. Type in the Airport ICAO code, and it should bring up the details including the ILS frequency.
