787 Camera Stuck & Hud keeps flipping down

Brief description of the issue:

When loading into the aircraft, the default view is super zoomed in. I am unable to set a new default IFR/VFR view like in other aircraft. The Hud is also flipped down by default. If I flip it down and then go to external view, returning back to default, it flipps back down.

Ive clean uninstalled, turned off all mods and come back in base Sim and it still happens. Ive also deleted the aircraft from the offical folder, reinstalled and still the same problem.

Have you checked in your control settings that you don’t have binding conflicts for the view and HUD ?
It would be good to get other 787 users feedback since this is the 1st time that issue is reported and that plane is available since a long time.

Ah so that helped as little. So it seems to be defaulting to Hud view on start up (without touching anything). If i press F10 then everything goes back to as it should be, camera zoomed out and hud flipped up. I can also set a new VFR camera if i so wish. However if i exit the cockpit or go to a saved view and come back in, it still defaults back to hud view.

I am moving your topic to the User Support Hub User Support Hub > Aircraft & Systems that is more appropriate to get support from the community.
Hopefully a user can guide you on how to avoid starting with the HUD view. I think if it was the case for all 787 users it would already have been reported. That is why I tend to think it is more a setup issue than a bug.
