787 Heavy Mod question

I’m just learning how to fly the 787 Heavy mod. I have a question about the flight following…

I have uploaded my simbrief plan, and for whatever reason the plane is following the VFR map plan (for some reason this plan isn’t the SB one). Am I doing something wrong?

Have you programmed the departure and arrival into the FMC, MCDU or whatever it’s called? I think it’s something you have to do if using simbrief

You can’t use the in-game flight planner. VFR map will also not be accurate.

You also can’t use the in-game ATC for IFR flight.

Yeah that’s exactly what I changed. Instead of loading the flight plan in the world map, I just chose the departing airport and loaded the flight plan from inside the cockpit. Appreciate the response.
