787 HUD Usage

Good morning forums,

For the 787 pilots and experts, regarding the HUD.

  1. Is it always used for take off and landing (or is it pilot preference / weather dictated?)

  2. Is the HUD used during all phases of flight as well (Climb, Cruise, Descent?)

Hi,

1, enforced by airlines, mostly during takeoff and landing

2, this one iam not too sure, i keep it always on in the 787.
