787 ND, FMC Displays and HUD not working. (Black screen)

Yes, but same issue persist in normal mode.

Have you disabled/removed all your mods and addons?

Yes, issue still persist. And issue still comes even when I start cold&dark on gate or engines running on gate. This is not a battery issue or electricity issue. And its NOT because of IRS.

Which aircraft are you reporting an issue about? (Please also add the proper tag for it)

787-10 with AAU2 Beta , but it works fine in the 747

I fixed it.

Turned on DX12 and its all working.

Same problem. DX12 didn’t fix it for me.

Having the same problem. DX12 didnt change it for me either

Same. I’ve had DX12 on before installing it. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s something hiding in my community folder. Using a default livery 787-10. Removed all heavy division versions. Still same blank MFDs.

Solved for me:
Honeycomb Bravo was plugged in and has a toggle switch for Avionics Master 1 On/Off. Toggled on:

now time to swap out for the TCA Boeing throttles and go for a spin.

I’ve solved the problem by assigning the command “avionic master On” to a switch of my joystick (or keyboard, is the same). By turning on this command everything started to work

This worked for me! Thanks!

On XBOX S.

Had no black screens in any plane for a while now. Thought they had fixed it.

Yesterday after 5 hours of flight black screens in the 787 flying at night over Ethiopia (so I think scenery was not the problem:)

After few seconds systems came back. Only had to switch on the packs again and re-enter FP in the CDU. Only issue was that flight elapsed time started at 0.

Then after half an hour of flight all screens black again and this time not came back:(

Formerly it was only black screens and everything else kept working (aircraft kept route and altitude for example). This time 787 lost altitude (only at 100-200 fpm, but continously). So I think it is a different issue and something with the plane (no general bug like the formerly black screens that happened for every plane).

Saved the flight (.flt). When trying to re-load it CTD.

Will try the “Avionic Master ON” next time…

Thanks very much. Toggling the avionics button on the Honeycomb Bravo solved the problem for me too. Your info is much appreciated.

It remains strange that this was necessary, considering I never had any issues with this before. Nevertheless, your contribution did solve the problem.

Since this issue is really about a bug with the Honeycomb Bravo, why not tag it appropriately? Many people have the Honeycomb Bravo and will repeat this issue and mistakenly think it’s a bug with the aircraft.

Seems like tagging things like this with the peripheral would help others

Hopefully the OP can add that in, or @Jummivana can add the Honeycomb Bravo tag. The OP solved it via turning on DX12, but that didn’t work for me. Granted, if someone has a 787 displays blanking issue and searches for it, they should arrive at this thread. It’s only a handful of posts, so maybe they’ll at least get to the Honeycomb part too. Cheers!

I am very happy that it was here. Other planes do not have that problem, so it makes sense to look for the solution in the 787-10

I didn’t touch for a while the Boeing 787 and when i fly/land the some screens go black
Can someone assist me how to resolve that? And what the issue for this?
Thanks

Maybe that post can help:

Did you also experience the engines off with these black screens?

I don’t have the edition where comes the 787 so I can’t help you. Maybe you can ask in the other post.

How did you turn on DX12? It’s already i see ON

You already have it ON as below ?:

If activating DX12 does not help (you need to restart the sim), read all the posts that come in the link provided above, some people applied a different workaround.
