Brief description of the issue:
As the flollowing pic shows: 787 not follow the lnav route when autopilot on. It turned left banking several times during this flight. I also test several flight section and it happened this situation too but left banking sometimes. Another point is it banks or turns in angle of over 45 degree !! Each time i just let it turns a circle as show in the picture or i have to switch off the AP for a normal flying .

Tks.
Are we expected to play a spot the difference game here between the two pictures? I never see this map in the sim before. Looks like an external tool. And how do we compare the actual flight path over what was originally planned?
In terms of deviating from the flight path issue. Have you done the following housekeeping tasks in your general settings?
- Set flight model to modern, don’t use legacy.
- All assists must be set to Hard/True to Life. Assists interferes with the autopilot. Don’t use it. (except for taxi ribbon, which is an acceptable exception)
- AI Copilot control must be set to OFF at all times. AI copilot has a mind of its own, it fights with the plane’s autopilot systems.
- Add deadzones to all your flight controls sensitivity. Pitch, Bank, Rudder, etc must have at least 5-10% of deadzone. This is because slight micro inputs coming from your controls tend to override the autopilot behaviour. So you need the deadzone for the sim to ignore these inputs.
Thank u for the suggestions. The 1,2,3 is just what u said. I will take time to try 4th(dz) .
By the way,The pics above is from little nav map but the inbuilt VFR map looks the same circle route as well.
Tks again !
Great tks. I have tried a 5% deadzone for flight stick and seems good for a short flight.
I will keep trying a high AMSL mountainious flight in the next few days .Wish good news !
tks.
