I own the 787 and my friend doesn’t. He has mp generic aircraft off and it still shows a default aircraft on his end. Are other players not able to see anything they dont buy? Even if it is the Official Aircraft? If this is the case, can something be done to fix this in an update in the future?

It is the same for liveries. You can not see those on other player aircraft, unless you have them installed as well.
Wow, that is a very old school way to do it. I hope they fix this or we are going to see the same vanilla planes for the next 13 years again. HUGE SIGH!!!
How is this old school? Or better how do you expect them to fix this? Think about it. Hundreds of custom liveries and aircraft. Let’s go for a group fly-in with 500 people. How is your PC going to download all these huge textures within an acceptable time frame?

This reminds me how counter strike became a weapons skin showing off from a great FPS game… and the list of “serious” bugs in msfs keeps increasing.
