Just installed my 7950X3d and 4090, 64GB 600MHz RAM.
All I can say is it is absolutely amazing…in every plane, at every airport, even in VR.
I get absolute minimum 55fps in Reverb G2 in Fenix A320, with VATSIM and FSTL in background and sometimes almost 90fps (max for the Reverb) in light GA aircraft when I turn down some settings (setting which aren;t even needed that much I dont believe) and am in an un populated area, otherwise in photogrammetry area in a busy city I get around the 55 fps mark. This is even higher (about 20fps more when I enter DLSS mode)…I am speechless. I have my terrain level of detail at 100 always. Never noticed what difference higher than that makes.
I definitely recommend the fastest RAM you can get… I saw a big difference between 5200MHz RAM and 6000.
Make sure you select ‘Cache’ in the BIOS under CPPC settings. Very important that to ensure your CPU makes use of the cache. To conclude, this CPU/GPU combination is unbelieveable!
