8 or more engine controller assignments

The Hercules and Late-631 each have more than 4 engines. MSFS does not support assignments beyond engine number 4.

Please increase the assignment options to at LEAST 8 engines to cater for the Hercules which is an Official aircraft. The Late-631 will also be catered for.

12 engines would cater for a future Dornier Do X

Can we get more then four options to assign to a throttle? We have planes with six, eight, and more engines and it would be nice to set up our peripherals to use them. Thank you.

How is this not more voted on? Maybe those other planes just aren’t popular?

I thought it one of the early dev streams they had mentioned there were going to be more but I guess it never came to fruition.

Currently, only four throttle axis are available - for engines one through four.

Please add additional individual throttle axis’ in the controls UI for those aircraft with more than four engines - e.g. the Latécoère 631 (six engines) and Spruce Goose (eight engines). I.e. we need
Throttle Axis 5
Throttle Axis 6
Throttle Axis 7
Throttle Axis 8
and their related controls, just like one finds with Throttle Axis 1-4.

For flying boats that do not have water rudders, the ability to control direction during taxiing by using differential thrust from the engines on the left & right side of the aircraft is not possible for aircraft with more than four engines, as developers usually just assign the general “Throttle Axis” to Engines 5,6,7,8…etc. Thus increasing the thrust on these engines also increases thrust on engines 1,2,3 & 4, making turning using differential thrust impossible.

Whilst 3rd-party addons such as axis-and-ohs may help, one should not have to rely on such products in order to control engines.

Good point.Voted

Voted. Still trying to figure how to individually control the B-52’s eight engines or at least assign throttle 1 to engines 1&2, etc. No mention of “engine” in 2024 control options.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

I discovered that I can’t use the 6-engine Bravo throttle quadrant because the MSFS interface only allows for 4-engine use. Is there any step by step instruction for using the bravo throttle quadrant in a 6 engine configuration for the AN 225 and some other multi engine aircraft?
