9kts tailwind preventing me from using reverse thrusters in tbm 930?

So I found a video on YouTube earlier where an IRL owner hints that he uses reverse thrust in his TBM for backing up out of tight spots on the ground. But I posted it to the wrong thread!

For touch and go flying, Pilot2ATC needs you to fly without a VFR flightplan. Is this realistic?
