A bug that have workaround

Hi all.
I have discovered a small bug that in the first place made me crazy but that I now have found the workaround for. Just intrested if anyone else have discovered the same bug anywhere else in the world.

The problem is that after I have selected the airport ESSB (Bromma Sweden) and a parkingplace when I zoomed in the top map - and selected Start Flight - it was not loaded. The wheel was rotating and nothing happened. I left it once for 5 minutes.
When I select a runway - it was working fine but I want to start up Cold and Dark.

I must also mention that the Airport ESSB is a bought airport in MSFS 2020 by ORBX and it is in MSFS 2024 marked as Not Confirmed.
My hardware is a Desktop I9 - 32GB and NVIDIA 4080.

On a laptop everything is working fine. Hardware here is Laptop I7 - 32 GB and NVIDIA 4070

The workaround that I finally found was to zoom in and select the parking lot and remember it.
Then after this I go out to the start screen, selected Free flight. There I select the airport. Now I do not zoom in the map to the airport to see the parkinglots. Now I select the parkinglot in the combobox and Heureka - It have always worked fine since then.

Just one of those things. Glad you found a way around it.

I studied some languages, and had to look up Heureka. We usually use Eureka here. But it seems both are linguistically acceptable.

So now I learned 2 things from your post. Cheers mate.

Exact problems i have. I can’t do walk around, can’t even enter the aircraft with the Shift C key. I click on the door to enter the aircraft. My i9 desktop with NVIDIA 4090 graphics card, 32 gig RAM can no longer run both sims. But my laptop which is i7 and NVIDIA 4070 runs both so well that i have stopped worrying about my desktop with 37-inch monitor. Thanks for the solution you’ve shared. I will try it out.
