Yesterday I posted on the discussion hub that according to Steam I had about 12 hours in MSFS2024, of these 12 hours only 20-30 min were actual flying time! Which is why I told myself I had enough and would go back to MSFS2020 and revisit the new sim in a few weeks or months when it’s ready. But for some reason I tried MSFS2024 “one last time” last night and low and behold it worked…and the experience was awesome! I don’t know if it has to do with the Servers being fixed or that there are just not that many people playing at 1-2am or a combination of the two.
The Albatross was the aircraft I was most excited about and I’m glad to say it was worth the wait. I think it’s Mike Johnson’s best work so far and I would put it in a category similar to AT Simulations An-2 in MSFS. It’s a real masterpiece.
I really hope Asobo and Microsoft will be able to get the game running smoothly and reliably soon and fix some of the bugs. The experience I had last night was incredible and after almost giving up on the sim I’m now very optimistic about the future of MSFS2024 =)
