Just thought I’d share some screen shots of these evenings flight taking some tourists from Lukla up round Mount Everst. I was keen to see what its like after SU6 with LOD on 400%. Plus I just got that 10M DEM mod from Sim market. The 10m DEM is pretty good. There’s a noticeable improvement. Whether its a £16 noticeable improvement is another matter. I’m guessing the default DEM is maybe 30m? Or 20m max. Its let down somewhat by the fairly low res satellite images coming off Bing. I’d love to see the Himalayas get the same treatment as Swiss Alps did. The whole area is one of the most interesting and beautiful to fly around in the sim, IMHO. I’d be well up for a world update that just focussed on maybe India and the whole area.
The screenshots feature the new airport enhancement mod I’m making for Lukla. I’ll get it finished and release it for the Twin Otter coming out.
