How hard would it be to write a script that runs on startup, identifies USB hubs, USB game controllers, and Human Interface Devices, then disables every instance of “allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” for every installed device, instead of having to go line-by-line through the Device Manager and doing this manually, every time a USB device is disconnected or reconnected?
I waste so much time every week having to comb through the Device Manager and uncheck these boxes manually, it makes me think there must be a way to make the machine do this to itself.
