Prior to SU1 I had no issues using the comanche in MSFS 24, including in Beta. Since the general release it crashes the sim if it’s installed in the community folder. Anyone else having this issue?

I feared that might be the case. I don’t really know where to go then. Never been this stumped on an issue with this before.
Maybe it is the combo with some other add-one. Does the sim still crashed with only A2a in the community?
I thought that too, but I’ve tested that too. With only the A2a in the folder it crashes, and without it works.
I’ve also uninstalled it via add/remove program and then downloaded a fresh copy to reinstall.
My only other thought is if it’s written some data somewhere else that’s been corrupted somehow, but no idea where to begin with that.
Take a look at Event Viewer after it crashes. I fly it quite often and don’t have crashes.
Mine works great in MSFS2024. There is a small patch available for it in the A2A forum…you might give that a whirl.
in the users\name\Appdata\Roaming\A2a Simulations is a comanche directory with simconnect, the input configurator and the updater, maybe that is the issue.
Try also a complete uninstall with REVO uninstaller. That program delete’s also reg entry’s.
For troubleshooting you can try to remove saved aircraft state. You can find the paths in this post under " Transferring Saved Aircraft State ", they are different depending on MSFS version you have: https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=77310
Simply delete the contents of the “work” folder or move it elsewhere.

After some hours of fiddling, I’m now starting to think the freezes were something to do with some corrupt cloud data which somehow linked to the initial loading of the Comanche from the menu.
I cleared the sim saved data folder and forced it to resync to a backup. After
this I was able to load the Comanche! The sim is still pretty unstable, but I believe that might be linked to the latest Nvidia app.

And the issue has returned after a few days of it working.
I’ve retested and it only happens when the Comanche is in the community folder.
So strange that I seem to be the only one impacted. Does anyone know how to get support from A2A, is it only on their forum because they’re non-responsive on there?
no, this is my problem too. as soon as the mod is added to the community folder, msfs2024 freezes. when commanche is not selected in free flight, there is no problem and the game starts, but if it was selected, it freezes when loading
Started today I have the same problem. All other aircraft load ok. Comanche caused freeze when trying to load into an airport to start flying. Tried multiple airports no joy still grounded.
Are you using the TDS GTNXi? If you try and use it in the Comanche the sim will crash. If you wish to fly the Comanche you need to remove “tds-gtnxi-gauge” from you Community folder. Personally I keep it on my desktop for easy access.
What is the exact version of MSFS 2024 that you are running?
This was indeed a WASM loading bug of MSFS SU2 beta prior to 1.4.10.0, but this has been fixed internally and we have confirmed that the TDS GTNXi works fine with the A2A Comanche. There is no need to remove the “tds-gtnxi-gauge” anymore.
As stated above, removing the TDS WASM gauge should not be the case anymore as the bug has been fixed in the latest MSFS SU2 beta.

Same crash on loading the Comanche, everytime MSFS2024 updates, the Comanche then CTDs. I have flown it many times in MSFS2024, but unfortunately I’ll need to wait for A2A to develop a 2024 compatible update.
