Just switched back to the Comanche after a few days and probably only first time since 1.6.7.0 and now the Comanche does not respond after entering flight. When you open the Comanches EFB it shows as Initialising Interface and is stuck there so although the controls such as throttle move, the aircraft does not actually respond and it just sits there. In the previous version all was pretty much ok so this is a recent regression. I have seen this mentioned on the A2A support pages but I don’t think I have seen it here yet, has anyone else confirmed this?
I ought to add that this morning when i powered up the sim, it sat for a few minutes doing a big download although the version number stayed the same so not sure what that implies.
As far as I know A2A have stated that the Comanche in it’s current state does not support the SU4beta version of FS2024. You can find a few topics about this over at their forum.
Yep! Still worth reporting, though, so Asobo knows. Third party producers are quick to point out they can’t support products under beta versions – which makes perfect sense – but we still need to report this so that Asobo/MS know that something broke that these third-party planes were using.
Yeah it appears that a lot of add on aircraft no longer work with this beta. I’m really scared how badly it’s going to break all my add ons. I have rolled back to SU3 for now.
Several fixes/changes have rolled out in 1.6.11.0 today that seem to have allowed more 3rd party aircraft to work - haven’t seen anyone test the Comanche yet though.
Yes, Comanche back on the air and appears normal so far.
However, not the same for the Citation X I just tried for the first time. As the Comanche was, the EFB is blank as are all the displays on the main panel. All controls seem to work and I even managed to take off but no displays. This is the first time I have used it so it could be it has always had these issues, maybe others know about this.
I tested the A2A Comanche today in Sim Update 4 - 1.6.13.0 and can confirm it works again.
However, I had some weird behavior with the trimming. I could never trim enough nose down to avoid the plane going up. Never had that before, altough I always had give to quite some “nose down” for her in cruising, but never that much. Anybody else with that issue?
yep similar, it’s acting as if the chocks are on even though they’re not. slewing into the air works. get the same effect when on the runway though so hmmm
