Hi to all, I have a little question about the meaning of FCP: if I don’t go wrong it means Flight Control Panel but I can’t understand at which zone of the instrument it refers to.
During Flight Deck Preparation checklist there is a step that wants to Check the FCP (before Captain Switch Panel), what I’ve to do?

I believe in this case, they are referring to the FCU which is the “Flight Control Unit” or what some would call the autopilot controls.
The expanded requirements for this check according to INIbuilds are:
FCP Check (I assume that means setting the proper data in the FCU displays as above)
HDG SEL Outer Switch: NORM (can be seen on the diagram)
All Green Barred Switches EXTINGUISHED (no lights showing on any of the selector switches)
FCP ON with PITCH TRIM Switches (If the Pitch Trim switches in the overhead aren’t on, the FCU displays will be dark)

Some camera doesn’t seem to point to the correct position during checklist, like the FCP one, but I accepted your answer as the solution.
