It doesn’t compile WASM at all on PC, could only assume it’s doing the same on XBOX. And for now the only workaround to not have a dead aircraft is to, when you create a flight, set the flights date back to the year 2022. According to INI on their forums the issue was fixed years ago…
This (shouldn’t) doesn’t happen automatically without any kind of notification, either when starting the game or shown through in game notifications stating there is an update available. I’ll try to load a flight with it later and see. It wasn’t even compiling WASM in the packages folder either, only building settings/configuration files. I have to redownload/reinstall it again through marketplace or content manager, reboot the MSFS, then load a flight with it.
It may have been a server side error. Perhaps an authentication server needed an update or something. Or maybe I just got lucky and it worked just that one time. I’ll try to re verify.
