Having problems also on series s, can’t even move around the cockpit without it stuttering and eventually crashing , tried changing settings with no luck, i also have msfs on a separate 1tb ssd with only livery add ons, so surely not a memory issue.
I rarely have issues with a310 on Xbox x if I can remember correctly only had one avonincs blackout between su10 to su12 with a bunch of 3rd add-ons installed the most frustrating issue is losing atc with this aircraft if that’s memory or server related not sure.
Reading this thread seems the Xbox s a310 needs to be optimised better.
For me, I am finished with any 3rd party addon! Meanwhile there are hundrets of reports about lost avionics and CTD´s, most of them related to addons, but not all. I think, that xbox s/x can´t handle 3rd party addons at the moment. On the otherside, in my opinion, the 3rd party programmers can´t handle the xbox. Maybe, at the moment, even Microsoft is not able to give everything they have promised to the xbox user (and for what we have payed for), as after every update the disaster starts again.
I think, addon-programmers and Microsoft have still a long way of learning, until they can play together.
For now, I will delete all addons, to give it a try, getting at least that for what I have payed Microsoft.
I have two different Series X that I fly on. Both are loaded with third party content.
I do not have the issues that many here are having.
It’s not a 100% binary issue. There is something far more complex going on here other than the Xbox just can’t handle this sim or 3rd party content.
Same here, I’ve used multiple add ons with no problem, issues only happening since the new update came out. My game only crashes using the A310, other than that, im having no problem.

Ok so i just tried something that might decrease the issues using the A310. I uninstalled all my 3rd party airports scenery and did a flight without problems and everything was looking good, can someone else try this and report how it went? TIA
I’ll try that once again in a longer flight.
Completed another A310 flight, 3hr+ without issues. This was not possible for me because of CTD or Black screens, but since I uninstalled all my 3rd party airports it’s working. Will try more tomorrow.
I appreciate your efforts, but it’s no fun flying without my addon aiports.
Yes I agree, my preference is to choose another plane instead.
Tonight i tried the A310 again, from inibuilds EGLL gate 537. Live weather and it’s overcast and raining, obviously.
I think the A310, or some part of the sim has a memory leak.
I was half way through the Flight Deck Prep checklist with the APU running, hadn’t even programmed the route in the FMC. I had to leave to finish cooking serving and eating dinner. I just left it sitting there in the cockpit not tuned to ATC with just the APU sound running. I did not use pause and at no time had I looked out of the cockpit or used an external view.
I came back after nearly an hour and found black screens and instruments dead. During this time there was nothing for the sim to do, no sky in view, just the cockpit and a small view onto the side of the terminal. No scenery or objects to load. Just time passing.
This is surely a bug and cannot be blamed on putting too much stress on the sim, nothing was happening. Sigh looks like I’m out of the A310 again.
I know it’s not fun but if you’re trying to fly the A310 for now it is the only way so far.
Please I need someone to help doing this and share their results. I’ve been using the A320CEO but I’m coming back to testing, but i need someone else to do it and share results.
I can’t get the A310 to work at all, ive tried everything including not using any add ons to no success but I’ve done flights using the 747, LVFR A319 with add ons and no issues, which is a shame because only aircraft I’ve flown since its release was the A310.
I wish it was so simple. I am on X and use the A310 in SU12 from ‘good’ addon airports, usually not huge hub airports that have good reviews such as EGPH, LGGW, LIML, LIRA and (touch wood) no black screen or CTD at all so far. Flying out of Newark yesterday there was lots of live traffic which did introduce low fps at the airport and taxiing. For sure the A310 is more demanding than simpler aircraft but it is copying so far from my sidde.
I think you need to specify/recruit Series S users, because I flew the A310 from LFPG to GMMN without a single issue (other than a massive step in the taxiway at LFPG, but that has nothing to do with the aircraft). Even ATC managed to stay on point.
Of course, I’m on an X.

I think the a310 works great with PC and Xbox X users. Only Xbox S users have an unstable a310 which is so sad.
That’s not true, it’s unstable on series x as well. I’ve managed at least to do a few flights, but probably half I’ve not even made the takeoff before it gave me black screens or CTD.
For me the same. After the last update Iḿ unable to even start the A310 on my Xbox-S. The sim crashes after loading every time. I re-installed the sim but that did not help.
Mysteries of this SIM on console. Flies beautifully on my XBOX X and haven’t had a black screen or CTD in weeks of playing almost daily.
