Using a peripheral with “Set Heading Bug” & “Plus” results in the VS rate increasing instead of the heading value increasing. This used to work in the retail release version. “Set Heading Bug” & “Minus” still works correctly.

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Utilize a peripheral with a control bound to “SET HEADING BUG” and one bound to “PLUS”. Attempt to adjust the heading in a positive direction, note the VS rate adjusting instead.

PC specs and peripheral set up:

Xbox Series X, Thrustmaster Boeing TCA yoke, Thrustmaster Boeing TCA throttle quadrant (the quadrant has both the SET HEADING BUG (rotary selector switch middle position) and PLUS (rotary knob clockwise) controls assigned to it)

When using the same “Pus/Minus” function with “Select Altitude Bug” I am also seeing VS+ increase one or two values before it, then, starts to increase or decrease the Altitude setting.

exactly as described. the hdg/trk “plus” rotary of the TCA boeing throttle (right rotation) does not increase the heading value anymore after SU12. Instead, it increases the vertical speed value. Definetly a bug.

This issue is happening even if you rotate the ALT SEL knob by hand, so it is not tied to the keybinding.

Hi, same problem here since SU12, works fine before… Honeycomb bravo on PC.
This bug is only on the A310, not on other aircraft (FBW, PMDG, carenado ect works fine)

All this discussion of the A310 & A300 got me wanting to fly the A310.

Bypassing the AIRAC date bug, I got the thing working only to find that this bug is still a thing!!

8 months…

Really? “feedback logged” is as good as we are going to get here? What, exactly, do we, the userbase, have to do to get you, Microsoft, to fix your broken airplanes? Is it really that hard to compile a list of issues and hand them off to your contracted developers to fix?

How about “fixed on live”?

(this issue also affects the IAS when using the same “plus” & “minus” keybinds for it.)

hi,
the solution is here !

Happy new year

Thanks, but that doesn’t solve the issue with both the HDG and IAS select knobs.

(and the bug still stands to be fixed)
