More evidence for this being an A320: the Fenix Simulations Twitter banner is a 320! Personally I would rather see another plane, but I will still purchase and be happy with the Airbus if the quality is as high as claimed.
I was thinking a DC-9-30 variant. After the 727, it was the second most sold airliner variant in the 60’s, early 70’s.

afaik they dont have any discord server, everything i know is just what ive found out/already knew
Ahh I see. How did you find out that it isn’t the 737-400 then? I thought you mentioned in a post a couple of days ago that Hughes posted that on his discord.
Nah, that would be too obvious. They’re trying to trip you up. Don’t fall for it.
It’s a Zeppelin.
ah yes, that was in the flightsim reddit server, i dont have an invite for that though sorry
Ahh I will search for it. To clarify: Did he post it in the main r/flightsim subreddit or does he have his own subreddit in which he posts?
it wasnt in the actual reddit, it was the discord server for the reddit, in the mfs channel
For anyone that is interested, I have found the source to the claim that the aircraft is not the 737-400.
Here it is: Discord
It was a post by hughesmdflyer4 (Brandon) one of the apparent developers of the aircraft we are eagerly awaiting.
Yes, I have found it thanks.
Link doesn’t go to the server
Well… not if it’s another A320…
I love the a320…yes we already have one but I would welcome a better one with an open wallet.
What can they do that the FBW team has not already done or is going to do in a near future?
I can only think about failures because somebody mentioned 170 failures, that is interesting but eventually the FBW team could add them, and the A320 is not particularly interesting with failures you just follow the checklist…
Textures and graphics hard to beat…
Sounds… again hard to beat…
Maybe a custom MCDU or a custom AP but the FBW team is already on the way there.
And do they have a working printer?
It would be productive to put in a feature request quoting your own IRL A320 cockpit experience then!
We already have a custom autopilot.
Hi there!
I said “on the way” because its getting better with each iteration.
If I were a company developing add-ons for MSFS with all the planes in the world un-done I’d have to be crazy to try to compete against the FBW A320. Not only it is difficult to compete in features but is completely free and has awesome support.
Believe it or not some people use the default A320, those you won’t get.
Many others use the FBW A320, those are very hard to get, you need to make them pay for something they will probably have in a couple of months for free.
So yes, some people will buy it but what you can make out of this project is a tiny fraction of what could be made with any other airliner…
I’ve seen suicidal strategies before so who knows…
