[A319, A320, A321] Fenix High-Fidelity Aircraft

When I run the Fenix app, keep getting stuck on logging in?

Has anyone encountered this problem?

I installed the FENIX APP on the first computer and can log in to the FENIX APP, but after installing the FENIX APP on the second computer, I still cannot log in?
Even if I delete the FENIX APP from the first computer, the second computer cannot log in to the FENIX APP

Is the FENIX APP bind computer hardware?
FENIX CANT LOGIN

Use the perfomance calculator in the EFB.

I don’t really know what you mean but you can download the flightplan in MSFS format and load it in the world map before starting your flight and then request IFR clearence. The flight plan loaded in the FMC will not load into the ATC. I know FBW had option to do that in the EFB. I’m not sure if this has that option. I don’t think so. If not you need to load the flightplan before starting your flight. I use pilot2atc. Much better offline ATC in my opinion. It doesn’t communicate with the other traffic but it knows where the other traffic are. They tell you to hold short if other traffic are on runways and stuff like that. In that you can file a flight plan whenever you want.

I am “team PMDG 737” but how is the lack of sim rate acceleration really a problem? What’s the point of flying a hyper realistic airliner if you’re going to speed up time like a kid with ADHD? Just pick a shorter route, it will feel more satisfying.

I accidentally applied reverse thrust right after takeoff LOL. That messed my whole flight. Can’t recommend that.

Yeah, this is one of two annoyances I have with Fenix. You must ESC the sim and go to the assistance options for that. Second thing I hate is that looking to the left via my joystick hat makes me look straight into a side pillar.

The aircraft starts as cold and dark. I cant start the EFB (Tablet) and I cant access external power. So I cant start the aircraft. What did they mess up now :rage:

Is the EFB plugged in and try to start the aircraft without external power via APU?

It is plugged…

As you can see EFB is plugged, GPU is plugged too, battery cant be used, no power to start aircraft as result

Make sure you’re running both the external Fenix Program and MSFS as Administrator. Once MSFS boots in and you’re in a Flight with the Fenix -i .e; you have a Live Cockpit - you can safely exit the Fenix Program (to free up PC Resources)

Ok you solved the issue. Fenix App did not start automatically. Thank You!

Just a quick hint for all of you struggling to setup a simbrief flightplan into the MCDU when starting on the runway:
I just learned from a comment on the discord server that the flightplan when requested is setup as the sec FPL and has be activated to be the primary one.

Actually I kind of able to disable the disable in the assistant to make the co pilot handle atc

After playing around with the EFB I found that you can calculate everything there. I guess I should study more before posting!

Yes, it is possible but it annoys me that the icon of the AI pilot disappeared from the in-sim menu and I must pause the sim with ESC and go to the assistance options to play with this AI ATC thing. I like to have it off in the beginning and then turn it on when getting clearance for taxi.

Yeah this one bothers me a lot too. I always delegate the “i have control, you have communications” when takeoff clearance is received. Going through the assistance menu is such a silly hassle really.

I mean that icon can be modded back, you could follow a fbw guide to disable the disabling of flight assistant

Ok thanks, I will take a look at it.

Not really an option if you’re using it in conjunction with something like A Pilot’s Life, which tells you the route you will be flying. Even if you only select short haul you can still be looking at flights of 2 hours or more, then factor in startup from cold and dark and shutdown - you can easily be looking at 3-4 hours per flight, which can be difficult to fit in during an evening!

Just because people don’t understand the ‘why’, doesn’t make it wrong.
