[A319, A320, A321] Fenix High-Fidelity Aircraft

OK I’m gonna answer my own question.

I finally managed to connect the FenixA320 to my X-Touch-Mini to use the FCU (spd, alt, vs etc).

First, I checked the user-created events from here: https://hubhop.mobiflight.com/presets/

I had already installed mobiflight and downloaded the latest event list from Mobiflight connector.
Then I also updated/installed the latest X-Touch-Mini-FS2020 tool which I’ve been using before. It also supports Mobiflight events.

Then I made myself a custom config with the events using this syntax (if you’re familiar with the X-Touch-Mini-FS2020 config):
“event_up”: “MobiFlight.FNX320_FCU_ALTITUDE_KNOB_INC”
“event_down”: “MobiFlight.FNX320_FCU_ALTITUDE_KNOB_DEC”

Right now I’ve managed to map heading, altitude, VS and speed knobs and they’re working

But I’m struggling to map the actions, where the mobiflight events have only “Push” or “Release” but I need those buttons to toggle between these two modes and I’m not sure how to convert them to toggle events. An example would be FD, LS, APP, LOC buttons.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Not sure how it works in Mobiflight compared to Spad.Next, but this is how I setup the Appr button. Because the button doesn’t latch it effectively has to be pressed twice, with a short pause inbetween. The last LVAR turns on the light on the button.

Got mine working with spad.next too… much simpler vs a32nx on the LVAR structure and manipulation

Bit of a noobie question - what does this get you in addition to the simbrief upload etc?

Most enjoyable phase in my opinion. Starting engines

So I’ve got a bit of a problem with control mappings using Axis and Ohs. I can’t find an axis mapping that works for the flap axis. I’m trying to map the axis to the 6th lever of the bravo throttle (although I think the issue is with finding the right axis and not the controller itself).

Has anyone had any success with this? I can get the throttles and speedbrake/spoiler axes to work, including reverse thrust etc. Just can’t find something that works for the flap axis.

I have a fall back, which is to use the flap up/down switch on the bravo - and that works when mapped to flap increment/decrement.

I dom’t want to do it through the MSFS mapping because I use AAO because it allows me to have different profiles for every aircraft automatically switched.

Yes, I would like to know this as well. i did ask earlier in the thread but nobody replied!

It must be an absolute honour starting the impressive and absolute realistic modelled Airbus engines.

But flying it is even better

Could you perhaps point into a direction how to do this or what to google for? Much appreciated.

Everything about it is amazing actually

Does anyone know if failures are on by default? During one landing right when i went to idle/reverse i got a thrust lever warning (dont know the exact message anymore) and i noticed a moment later i was speeding up and my (on screen) throttle was stuck at the CL detend. Instead of trying to go around i went into troubleshooting mode with a deadly result. Quite the lesson

On the next flight my (TCA) throttle was working normally again so now i wonder if it was a Fenix failure or a glitch in my hardware/software.

I had a worrying flight yesterday, an error message came up on my ECAM with regard to pressurisation, I went on EFB Mass and Weights clicked on passengers status “blue”…clicked several passengers all “blue” Status…was a bit concerned if I caused Hypoxia :flushed:

Question here: I have set the failure scenarios as shown here:

but in mid flight today I have my RTK fuel pump failed and inop, can anyone tells me if I have set something wrong and so not really disabling the failure?

Go to your Community folder and then fnx-aircraft-320/SimObjects/Airplanes/FNX320, there you edit flight_model.cfg. Find “disable_assistances” and change its attribute from 1 to 0. I haven’t tried it yet but it should work. We should have the flight assistant menu back.

Thank you so much! I’ll give it a go soon and report back on it here.

My cabin got up to 80 degrees celsius the other day when I had a engine bleed air issue! :grimacing:

Mines mapped to “Spoiler Handle” and seems to work.

WOW this is simulated? This kind of realism and failures, even problems with air conditioning and pressure? Absolute impressive I love this Airbus. True to the core in every single detail!

It works! This way you can indeed get the assistances back and get AI handle the ATC again. Thanks a lot for your tip!

80C is not a temperature that human beings will do well in and cooked passengers will not be good for business.
