Anybody seen TCAS in action? A Ryanair (5953) going south to Spain almost scratched my roof on my way from Spain to the UK (flight BA2799). Now I’m at FL360 and the Ryanair was at FL370 but because it happened too fast it looked way lower. It should go off at 500 ft difference right?
I don’t like FSLabs sounds in cockpit. And it’s 150$
Just flown this, having finished building my PC yesterday. And oh my ■■■■■■■ god. It is an unreal experience.
Back to intermittent DRM problems again it seems. This is buggy as hell. Below is a screenshot from my machine right now (with personal info redacted). It is quite plain from this that:-
- I am logged in to the Fenix app successfully.
- The Fenix app has found the Fenix server, therefore I must be online (as indeed I am in order to post this).
- In spite of 1. and 2., the Fenix A320 is not working and claims I am not connected to the app.
I’m sorry, but this is CLEARLY a bug and this DRM is not fit for purpose.
I should add that restarting the flight made no difference. Closing and restarting the Fenix app made no difference. Running it as an administrator or not made no difference. Will restart the whole of MSFS at this point and see if that makes any difference. Absolutely ridiculous.
In what way?
TCAS has problems. It doesn’t work fine in flight
Yes, but it’s still a better aircraft: more deep sistems (few, but it has more), less bugs and better performance.
Anyone here knows where is the switch to turn off the STDY ATT PANEL?
im trying to find the switch to test something here and no success.
Do you mean choose which type of standby instruments you have?
i want to turn off the STBY ATT ( the panel that is a backup ) for altitude.
looking for the switch on the panel, but so far, no success.
Sorry - I’m being slow probably - when you say “turn off” do you mean remove entirely? If so, then there are options in the EFB for which standby instruments you have, but not sure you can actually remove it.
And if you have it, I;m not sure you can “switch it off” so it is non operational. If it’s the mechanical one that you need to “cage”, I’m not sure there is a way to turn this off. If the more modern version, you may be able to pull a circuit breaker?
yep, thats what im looking for. the circuit breaker switch to turn it off.
I’m searching the fcom…
Can’t find a list of the circuit breakers in the FCOM or any other manual I can see online. However, in the overhead circuit breaker panel, there is this one which lokks like the right thing…but it isn’t one of the ones you can “pull” unfortunately.
There is something better existing than the Fenix Airbus? This makes me curious now and I will check it out on YouTube
Hm I have watched a little bit about the FSLabs Airbus, but my knowledge about Airbus is not good enough to tell if and in what aspects it is better than the Fenix.
kinda funnny, i was able to turn off almost everything but the panel.
if anyone end up finding a way, let us know!
cheers
Why do you want to turn it off? If that instrument is inoperative in the real airplane, you cannot legally fly.
On the kodiak 100 turning it off gets 15fps more, that thing consume a lot of graphics
i was looking to try on the fenix a320 to see if there is any improvements.
since there are 200+ working switches, i was 100% sure it was possible to turn off to see any improvement.
Interesting, but it is a backup instrument perhaps it’s not on a breaker or has a battery?
