The ATIS is nice, in the old Flight Sim days like FS2004 every flight begun with some nice ATIS weather report.
I wish there would be an option to tune into ATIS or ATC at the beginning of every flight.
But I still have a question about the circuit breaker board behind the copilot´s seat…
I know from several A320 pictures that the ceiling circuit breaker board is not illuminated, but the circuit breakers behind the seat are 100% illuminated in every single one even the oldest CEO models, and several real cockpit pictures proof that.
Is there a switch to switch on the backlight of the rear circuit breaker panel illumination?
There might be a simple way to illuminate the rear circuit breaker panel by giving A320_COCKPIT_TEXT_2_ALBD.PNG.DDS an EMIS or ENV file called A320_COCKPIT_TEXT_2_EMV.PNG.DDS, but this file must be bound to some light switch.
I could do this mod and it would only take me one day, but I could need some help with scripting.
Has anyone ever done a 3D cockpit illumination mod?
Does anyone else having this issue that during night flights, the beacon light flash pattern does not match the reflection on the wings, that is the beacon flashes and the red reflections on the wings are not synchronized.
Well don’t know what this is but I was switching from the outside view into the inside view and then the cockpit suddenly looked like this. Never had this before and I’m switching regularly between the views.
yesterday on my flight from eddh to edds i noticed the same … no contrails … but i was unsure if that maybe was just a thing with the actual weather conditions?
Some questions for the experts here. I updated Fenix to new version without uninstalling the older one first. Hope I did the right thing. The simulator isnt so smooth anymore now. Would like to ask if HAGS should be on or off. Besides that, are you still setting CPU priority to High via Taskmanager? What about "Disable full screen optimization for the exe file? 8x8 or 6x6 for texture supersampling? I am asking because most of you dont have any stutters anymore when panning around. I still have some of these, although having Vsync set to 30 FPS.Thanks.
i9-9900K overclocked to 4.8/Asus RTX 3080 10GB/32 GB memory/windows 10/ no PG, no traffic.
The weather radar is a sim limitation. Apparently Fenix have taken it as far as they can go. The ball is, and has been for a long time in Asobo’s court regarding weather radars for all aircraft.
Can anyone confirm, that the terrain on ND is no longer working aswell ? Just flew a bit in the Himalaya between Paro and Kathmandu and it was not working.
Before the update this was working well.
The range settings are different, right ND 360 miles range with half compass rose, left ND most of the time only 20 or 40 miles with different compass rose layout.
Please check the circuit breaker panel before every flight, since the update my Fenix is always starting with random circuit breakers out (and therefore inactive systems)
Thanks, I will check the circuit breakers during my next flight. Now that you mentioned it, I heared some strange sounds throughout the flight.
Always a click click pause click click pause and so on. Maybe this was one of the circuit breakers ?
Glad to have the update. I’m still noticing the issue with the start logic - Stable N1 and fuel flows with rising EGTs. Not sure if this is a Fenix or Asobo thing as it’s been this way since release.
