You sure you got your axes set up right?
Works fine on my end, but there’s a huge lag — the reversers don’t kick in till I’m pretty much stopped after landing.

Question:
Is there a way after importing SimBrief into the Fenix A320 Pad and MCDU to somehow upload it into the FS2024 ATC? I do not want to open the FS2024 EFB because it is instable kills performance and even lead to CTDs for me. Never had a CTD since I never ever opened it anymore not even to start the free flight.
If there is none I guess I will sit down and program such a little tool because I really need it. So far I simple flew without ATC but that is not fully satisfying.
Anyone else getting random CTDs with the Fenix in MSFS2020? Doesn’t happen every flight but when it does the whole PC just shuts off. Don’t have this with any other aircraft or add on whatsoever.
Had it suddenly happen earlier when I was cruising over central France.
after the last update the connection between simbrief and the fenix aircraft and gsx is lagging. Sometimes it works, but i get a lot of errors suddenly loading in simbrief flightplans and loading the aircraft
can they make a 343-600 ….
Of course they can, my personal opinion hopefully they won’t (for the near future). Would rather see the A330ceo and neo first.
Guys, I noticed that Fenix has inserted some exclusions in Defender. See below.
Not necessarily an issue, but just to confirm it’s normal ?
I’m only guessing here but I wonder if it’s because Fenix also runs an external programme that needs access
Yeah, that’s totally normal. As Ariana correctly mentioned, the Fenix app launches various external processes before or along with the sim, and these processes run besides the sim’s main executable.
You don’t want those being scanned by the Defender’s real-time scanner during flight, as that could cause performance issues.
Also, the Fenix installer adds permissions to the Defender’s firewall so that the Fenix app can access the internet (for things like checking your license, searching for updates, downloading liveries, etc.).
Help.needed please, I’ve been flying the Fenix variants for a long time (months) and I have my failure settings on High and all things can fail. I think that’s the settings, I’m not in front of PC right now.
I even reset / cycle the failures within the MCDU to ensure those settings are selected each flight, if that makes sense.
I’ve never had a single failure, anyone got any ideas why?
Thanks in advance
I am using the Fenix A3XX aircraft with GSX Pro and they really work well together but a couple of times, because of the long time it takes for GSX to load fuel and passengers, I forget at the end of that to send weights and performance data to the MCDU, only to become aware of that as I’m taking off and you have no V1 speed shown. Once you are airborne it becomes a nightmare because you can no longer send that data and the only fix is to manually input the weights. Trying to do that in VR with all the busy tasks is just too much. It is of course my mistake but wonder if perhaps there would be some obvious warning as you are ready to takeoff or push back that your MCDU is not fully programmed. It might be a realism breaker but, when that happened, I just quit the flight wasting the half hour or so of setup I did.
First, a silly answer I just can’t resist:
Do it like real pilots: run the checklist. ![]()
But since that’s a bit tricky under a VR headset, here’s the serious answer:
(I’m writing this from memory, so sorry if I don’t use the exact terms, but you’ll get what I mean.)
After you’ve selected passengers, cargo, and fuel in the EFB, you’ll see the COMPANY MSG pop up on the upper ECAM as a temporary load sheet gets sent to the MCDU message system (under AOC Menu → Received Messages I think).
I usually open that load sheet on one MCDU and manually enter the data into the second MCDU, either before or during boarding. You don’t have to wait for boarding to finish you can use the temporary load sheet right away to feed the INIT data.
The COMPANY MSG alert won’t disappear until you acknowledge the message in the MCDU with ACCEPT.
You can use that to your advantage: only acknowledge it after you’ve entered all your INIT and PERF parameters. That way, as long as COMPANY MSG is still showing, you know you haven’t finished that step yet.
Once boarding is complete, you’ll get the final load sheet again as a new COMPANY MSG with the updated message in the MCDU.
You can use that to cross-check your INIT data and as a handy reminder.
Looking for some help, this issues literally started today. I have been running the Fenix in 2024 for months now since BFU2 with the winwing side stick with no issues. Now today I’m getting f/ctl inop which I cannot clear which results in the AP also not working nor the auto trim. I’ve reset the sim, re calibrated the sidestick. Checked all the bindings and noting has changed…
Anyone had and solved this issue? Any help would be appreciated.
PS. There was a small fenix update yesterday which I did run, maybe that’s the issue???
Anymore more has issues getting the EFB only to work at 1 side of the plane?
Sometimes my EFB only works at the first officers side and sometimes just on the pilots side and sometimes at both and sometimes i have to restart because they both keep black screened…..
Is seems random tbh
There was no fenix update yesterday. Latest was 6-oct.
Thank you for the very complete reply. Generally I mess up when I’m feeling the clock ticking. I love watching the animations of GSX but get impatient once it’s done because I don’t want my flight taking too long. If I just tell the plane to load fuel and passengers instantly I immediately send info to the MCDU. I have not really played with the checklists. Just rely on my 71 year old brain memory which fails me at times. I never really had a clue what the company message was. Thanks for clarifying.
So this is the error I am getting…
I even removed all my peripherals to make sure there was not binding issues. As I said it only started when I updated the FENIX to the latest version yesterday. This error cannot be reset in sim, or using the tablet.
Might be a failure selected
You might want to check if there are any failures selected. Got maintanance clear all failures. Just a guess.
Uninstall and reinstall with the Fenix installer.
Last night, I was going to do just that. When I opened the installer, there was another small update, which I ran. A quick test last night, and the failure did not occur….
Fingers & rudder peddles crossed….
