Whenever I set the default to Cold & Dark and restart the flight the plane loads powered up then shuts down. Is this normal, why wont it just start Cold?
Similar yes… Kind of annoying actually, especially when my speakers are turned up!
What was the answer? I hope I didn’t do a oopsie by buying this aircraft because if I can’t use all of my hardware the Fenix will just sit on my hard drive and I’ll continue flying the FBW until Fenix has full featured support

In the EFB. Change the state of the aircraft and it’ll let you set it at default.
What you are looking for is Single Thread Performance. My total CPU usage is around 40-60% max during flights. But I’m still limited by Main Thread (Ryzen 3700X).

From what I understood, Fenix has some funny license terms with respect to home cockpits. My impression is that this will most likely hold people from publishing Lvars etc. So I will not buy this one right now until I have some proof this is actually being supported.

I‘d like to express my gratitude towards the Fenix-team! Great work on the A320! Everything is working as it should after setting up the controls properly! Very fun to handfly, too!
Especially the joystick gives you the feeling that you‘re flying a large aircraft.
I‘ve been enjoying FBW‘s work in the last couple of months extensively. Also very fun to fly. What I miss now ist the fantastic VATSIM integration in the EFB.
Maybe something that can be added to Fenix‘s EFB in the future?
Now we’re where we wanted to be all this time with MSFS! Great aircraft are now available with incredible system depth! Today it‘s the Fenix Airbus, tomorrow PMDG‘s Boeing and after tomorrow FBW‘s A320. Hours and hours of fun and relaxation!!

How do you know when to start to rotate while sitting in the cabin?
This is just getting started (Guenseli does a lot of these), and so far only the EFIS ND range, but this is clearly using LVARs. Here’s one of the scripts:

succssfully fly a basic route from RCTP to VHHX in my first day, but a few questions:

I think I disabled the failure in the MCDU by setting it to none, but not sure it got the correct config or not

any suggested TCA quadrant throttle axis sensivity curve? I am using the FBW suggested linear one

for ATTC, is there anyway I can ask it to use the instrument FP? it seems that it didn’t appear in the options.

before take off setting in the ECAM display, how can I ask it to show the take off config page? it only appears in a blink after I alinged in the runway and get clearance, in FBW it seems to appear early on.
What does the display setting exactly change? Is there a noticable Visual different between quality, balanced and Performance??

anyone have problem with speed modes? I tried using selected speed in mid flight but can’t go back to managed speed

I can’t imagine why/how Fenix thinks that a few logitech and goflight panels are a completely separate user category from someone who just uses a yoke and mouse.
