I’ve only just started flying the A320 (with the Flybywire mod) and once I get up to cruise altitude with AP etc on the plane always sways / rocks slightly. Is this normal behaviour?
Aye, planes stay rock solid and do not move in flight.
It´s a known Bug an currently under investigation through Asobo as the patch notes says.
For the moment we must use at it is.
Hi, so when you use the A320 Neo it stays level and doesn’t sway, or are you saying it does move about? I doubt the passengers would feel very comfortable with the way it’s currently behaving. I’m flying in calm weather btw.
Also your reply contradicts the comments made by Einhorn about it being a known bug.
Having the same effect from day one. I’m starting to feel seasick watching the plane swaying. It’s not a big sway but certainly noticeable.
It’s weird because I’m using the YT tutorials of Real Airbus Pilot A320 NEO and his MS2020 320 seems rock solid, hence why I was wondering if I had some setting wrong. All my flight controls seem fine, it’s almost as if I had some flaps but I’d have a warning and all checks seem AOK.

I thought it wasn’t a bug because I still maintain level flight with autopilot active. I believe the light swaying is just corrective rolling as you cruise through the air, similar to how you subtly do corrective steering while driving. It only ever becomes apparent when I turn the sim rate up.
I thought the swaying comes from the wind…
If it swayed like the way it does for me, you wouldn’t be able to keep your onboard drinks on the table

In degrees, how big is the swaying? It really shouldn’t be noticed.
Maybe about 2 degrees, it’s not the overall tilt, it’s the constant see-sawing motion that gets this noticed. It doesn’t mimik RW wind or turbulence conditions.
The new Update Today 1.9.3.0 fix this Problem to my FS. And dont forget to select Flightmodel Modern.

Yes this was an annoying issue and can report that it appears no longer there in the new patch. Currently at FL340 and no swaying.
