Hopefully this is in the right section of the forum, sorry if it isn’t.
On final approach in to Skiathos, just after 300ft, the A320 just turned off completely. Everything went dark. Engines stopped. Then I just glided in to the water.
I’ve noticed this trying to land in Venice as well. But normally the systems came back on. Everything would shut off for a moment. But this time it didn’t come back on. I’ve recorded a video of it happening which you can find at this link.
Thanks for any help you can offer
Best wishes
Gary
Same thing just happened when I was flying from Bergen to Faroe islands. Wondering if I’m doing something wrong when starting the plane. Both times it just shut off between 24 to 27 minutes. I was at 38,000ft when the Faroe flight cut off. So they probably cut off at the same time. Unlimited fuel is on. So I don’t know?
Possibly it’s a failure of the simulator, according to the video it is not a mechanical failure or etc, since it’s turning off completely like using the shortcut on the Xbox control RB right / left / command to turn everything on or off.
Try to use the version of Asobo, Airbus Neo A320 without any paint.
It is not an aircraft fault, it’s the simulator.

Sully would be proud
That being said it has happened to me twice with the FBW A32nx, since the release of the sim. Once during approach CYYC 35L, and once during take-off 16R KSEA.

Battery problem? Which type of throttle are you using?
There is a similar problem on the default C172 which is turning off after about 5 minutes if using the Thrustmaster quadrant. It is due to a bug and the system Ign/Start is continuously working and, therefore, consuming the battery charge until the shut-down. In this case the workaround is to change the assignments in the “controls” set-up. It might be your case.If not , it might be an interference of a mod.If you have any in the “Community” folder, remove them and see what happens.

I’ve went and had a look at the battery area again and I think it might be a case of operator error. I’ve been starting the A320 manually lately, a change for me, I went and checked the checklist again and where it says ‘engine generators : on / fault’, I’ve only been pressing the buttons to get rid of the red fault light after turning on the battery, I haven’t been pressing again to turn them on.
Fingers crossed that’s what the problem is.
Good. Let’s know if it works.
