• I have been facing the same issue as of today. It seems to be affecting all aircraft, built in and third party.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• It occurs every time I load into the sim. I haven’t had a successful flight as of today.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

• Yes

A320Nv2 Inibuilds / XboxX

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

• Completed 3 flights in separate wether conditions. It is AP (Autopilot) function that creates wobble. When AP is disconnected the wobble stops.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

I have the same issue with the 320. But if I adjust the trim when it starts bobbing it stops.

how do you adjust trim if AP is engaged?

• I’ve experimented this also with the A321

Fellow simmers,

I have completed several flights in 1.5.9.0 and have been experiencing 5 annoying new issues that were not present in 1.5.8.0

My setup: XboxX, TCA Airbus Thrustmaster stick, quadrant and rudder pedals, A320Nv2 Inibuilds.

Five issues I came across:

  • MCDU text not auto-clearing after entry
  • Vertical wobble when AP is engaged
  • Excessive fuel burn
  • ENG start using thrustmaster throttle quadrant switches- the startup sequence was not working
  • IRS is auto aligned upon flight loading

For workaround, try following (it worked for me 3 times and all of the above issues were gone)

  1. create a flight
  2. load the flight (be in the cockpit and turn and power on)
  3. END the flight
  4. back to main menu
  5. do not quit the sim
  6. back to free flight menu to load the new flight
  7. load the same flight (it should remember last entry)
  8. play

I have all of these issues too, seems like the aircraft is sped up, because if you check the clock it goes 2-3x too fast

Hi @Boeingspeedbird,

Has this issue only happened in the latest 1.5.9.0 SU3 Beta build or did you experience it before? If so are you able to get a video recording at all so that I can take a look to see what may be causing it?

Just on another note to some other users in this thread discussing trim, the Airbus A320 NEO does not have conventional manual elevator trim like you would find in a Boeing or in small general aviation aircraft.

Thanks
The MSFS Team

It has happened to me on the A320N, 321N and A330

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes, and I’ve only seen this issue with 1.5.9, but I did not have much time with .8

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• It seems like the porpoising that happens here is similar to when sim rate is increased beyond a certain speed in planes with AP on

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

This could result from the same underlying issue with the increased fuel burn bug, as the plane’s internal clock runs faster than the simulation itself - much like a sim rate increase. See my attached post for more details and video evidence:
