A320x with Self-Loading Cargo or PACX

These days I am trying Fs2Crew and PACX together.
I must admit that the flight is certainly more engaging and makes everything more enjoyable.
PACX offers the possibility to activate the Career mode with scores based on passenger satisfaction.
This helps keep you from getting tired and urges you to respect your flight schedule. :slightly_smiling_face:

I have the SLC instaled but it seems something went very wrong in the process. The program doesn’t fully understand what are the stages of my flight. When I land the voice from the pilot says sorry for the delay we have a problem we will turn back to the gate" The steps are a little bit chaotic. It says perform take off , reach a save cruising altitude. Even If I reach any altitude I don’t get any message about descending, landing, taxi, and so on.
Please can somebody tell me what I have done wrong??

Your best bet is to go to TFDI’s forums. ( the makers of PACX)

I am talking about Self Loading Cargo Softwear ! Sorry but I am a noobie so maybe I am not understanding, all the time very good everything! Take me easy!

Sorry, my apologies, here is a link to SLC’s discord.
This will be a much better site to go for help.

You probably have set Metric values inside MSFS 2020. SLC needs Feet for altitude, so you need to set the hybrid setting in MSFS (everything metric except for altitude). Otherwise SLC won’t understand that you ever took off!

Just want to confirm if you believe PACX, FSUIPC7 (is there another required FSUIPC related package to get pacx to work?) are worth the investment?

Hello,
you only need FSUIPC7 to get pacx to work. I think it is worth. The athmosphere is more immersive.

I’ve been using both PACX and SLC and i’ll recommend PACX.

Simply PACX is just more immersive and less linear.
for example in in safety briefing you’ll hear the FLT number and destination of your flight.
on landing, you’ll hear the local time and outside temperature which is super nice.

there is small touches for me that makes me prefer PACX.

in pacx are simulated any incidents on board that makes u deviate the flight like medical issues or technical problems?

yes there are several emergency situations with PACX. I would highly recommend PACX; I bought it recently and wow it’s amazing-so realistic.

I used “Self-Loading Cargo” on few flights and it works fine for me.
There are a few little things that have to be improved, but the developer has a lot of this in the pipeline for the next version 1.6.
The opening of the doors on airports without jetways i control with the plugin (msfs-pushback-helper-app-v2.4).

A few pictures from a flight - EHAM (Schiphol) to EGKK (Gatwick).

What is name of pad in right hand side?

Pushback helper

I mean this one :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s a usb numpad where i have put my standard instrumentviews and lightning switches on.
I have made text labels on the buttons so it is easy to see which button does what.

pacx is definitely more engaging, and it always makes improvements. SLC is not bad but full of errors that are not fixed. In addition, the deadlines for updates are not met.

The big update with latest error fixes and voice/audio interaction is coming soon.
The release was delayed because of changes made by Asobo in the latest update.

There is an open beta for all PACX users. Check their discord.
