Everything work follows plan when flying on a route from EHAM to EDDL with the planned SID and STAR. During the flight, I program in the F-PLN a constraint with FL60. As soon I entered the ALT CSTR the plane makes a sharp left turn and flying the opposite way.
I have to correct this to enter DIR to the next waypoint. Then it follows the route again.
Is this a user error or just a glitch in the MCDU?

This is one of the SU5 bugs. Whenever you fiddle with the flight plan while in the air, there’s a good chance the plane wants to restart at an earlier waypoint. Fixing it by DIR is the only solution I know.
Let’s hope FBW get their new flight planner off the ground soon. (320SimPilot on YouTube had an experimental build yesterday where it looked pretty good already.)
