A32NX: MSFS generated flightplan not showing up on MCDU at start of flight

Currently trying to use the current stable build A32NX but it doesnt seem to want to show (or pick up) the flightplanon the MCDU.
The plan is showing up on the main NAV display but nothing (starting airport, destination airport, waypoints etc.) appears on the MCDU, just a warning message saying " FPLAN discontinuity, End of F-plan, no altn f-plan"
I’m not using VATSim or Simbrief, just generating the flightplan via the default MSFS system and this only seems to occur on the.A32NX (it all appears to work ok on the WT CJ4).
Ive just updated to Windows 11 but dont think that could cause the issue.

Any ideas?

Obviously as its 1st January the Sim might have had a wild evening last night so might just have a hangover…

Hello,
First of all, the message “FPLAN discontinuity, End of F-plan, no altn f-plan” is not necessarily an error message. On the contrary, it indicates that the flight plan stops after the last waypoint mentioned: PPOS on the screen of your MCDU. Try moving up in the flight plan using the down arrow on the MDCU keyboard. If nothing appears, check to see if you have the IRS aligned correctly.
I hope this helps.

Isn’t there a setting on the EFB to control whether the flightplan is loaded from simbrief or MSFS?

Think it defaults to simbrief so you have to change it and then load via the INIT function on the MCDU.

This is the wrong place to post.

I could be wrong on this, but I was under the impression that the default MSFS flight planner is no longer useable with the FBW A320NX.

Seemed to work ok a couple of days back when I last played the sim…

Hmm, I Didnt think that this was the case , will go and have a check but couldnt see this option in the MCDU

This is the option I was thinking of…

However I just tried a quick flight and it imported the flighplan ok without me doing anything, appears in the MCDU as expected. Had a discontinuity but that’s easily dealt with.

Ok, after a few tries yesterday involving several restarts and rebooting the computer too with no joy, I tried again this morning without chaning any settigns and the MSFS flightplan is auto importing to the MCDU with no issues…hmm, so I go back to my original point that perhaps the sim was having a post new year hangover
