A330-200 T (Aft) Tank does not work

One for iteration (msfs-2024)

One for platform (ms-store )

One for aircraft (IniBuild A330-200)

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

If fuel is loaded on the Tail / Trim tank nothing happens no matter if you press the FWD or open the FEED valve. Pump wont switch/turn and therefore fuel will stay the same, it will not transfer at all.

This is problematic on fuel planning since is fuel one is counting on.

As a result, fuel on Trim/Tail tank is unusable, static, just weight.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

All the time, it does not seem to be simulated

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load a330-200 with enough fuel to feel Trim/Tail tank

  2. Fly and try to switch FWD pump or feed pump, nothing happens

  3. Fuel on Trim Tail tank is therefore unsusable

YOUR SETTINGS

If the issue still occurs with no mods and add-ons, please continue to report your issue. If not, please move this post to the User Support Hub.

What peripherals are you using, if relevant:

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it?

[PC, MSFS 2020 Only] Are you using DX11 or DX12?

[PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use?

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share?

MEDIA

(Edited for further clarification and added picture)

There are several posts on inibuild forum about this, so I can confirm it is a bug or it is not modeled

Can confirm:

Everything’s opened but fuel is not moving from trim tank to any other place.

Tired of finding bugs everywhere.

Aparently it only happens on the -200 variant, the -300 does transfer

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

The IniBuilds A330 never switches on its aft fuel tank, no matter the panel configuration and no matter the remaining fuel in the other tanks.

In the capture below, I reached a low fuel situation in career (because of the fuel prediction bug on the IniBuilds models). The aft fuel tank have been storing 1560kg of fuel since departure and never switched on since. I tried switching all pumps to MAN but the aft pump will not turn on.

It is my understanding that the aircraft should automatically pump from the aft tank to manage balancing OR when in low fuel condition.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Always as far as I can tell.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Fly with some fuel in the aft tank.

  2. Reach low-fuel condition in the other tanks

YOUR SETTINGS

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it?

No

Additional insight : the aft tank does not seem to “be known by the simulator” : doesnt show on the EFB

Follow-up question: does Asobo or Microsoft have any active contracts with IniBuilds and others for maintaining the third-party models? There are tons of reported bugs and as far as I can tell none of them seem on the way of being fixed or even looked at.
