A330 Radio Panels won't switch active frequency

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
When selecting a radio frequency to tune to in the radio panel on the iniBuilds A330 in SU2, clicking the transfer button does not switch frequencies. The frequency in Active will temporarily be copied to STBY, but then will reset to what it was before and the old active frequency does not change.

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta?
No. It worked in SU1 Beta and after SU1 release. This is new in SU2 as best as I can tell.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Noticed this on the A330-300

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Only noticed for the first time but will update if it seems to be recurrent.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Active frequency is 119.100. Set Stby dial to 122.800
  2. Click the transfer button to make 122.800 Active
  3. 119.100 remains in Active, and briefly also is displayed in Stby.
  4. Stby then flips back to 122.800, but never appears in Active.
  5. Frequency does not change to 122.800

Confirmed, I’m experiencing the same issue with my flight just now. Sitting at the gate at EBBR with A330-300 RR. Can’t switch the radio freq from standby to active. I tried everything, including turning the radios off and on. Switch VHF, HF, etc.

experiencing the same issue with vhf1
in a321 neo from FSLABS.
But it works with VHF 2!

How did you end up resolving it?

No issue here:

Make sure you have this option disabled:

I’m having the same issue now and I don’t know how to fix it.

I can confirm I’ve had this issue appear in MSFS 2024 SU4 and SU5, as recently as 2 days ago. So far I can resolve it by exiting MSFS 2024 then re-opening, reloading the flight. But it’s a bit of a pain when it happens.

Do you have AI radio communications option enable by any chance ?

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

When selecting a radio frequency to tune to in the radio panel on the iniBuilds A330 in SU5, clicking the transfer button does not switch frequencies. The frequency in Active will temporarily be copied to STBY, but then will reset to what it was before and the old active frequency does not change.

I have done the same and even op out of the beta and still have the same issue

I have make sure that is not on.

If any add-ons (community/Marketplace), have you tested disabling them ?

I only have GSX and Navigraph installed and yesterday I did a flight same airplane no issues. I have many liveries but I don’t think those interfere with radios.

If you are asking me, no it is off.

My recommendation would be to test disabling 1st the liveries. I have seen reports where 3rd party liveries are impacting avionics. If issue still there test disabling GSX and any other addons. You need to confirm if an addon could be the culprit or not.

How can I disable liveries? but just deleting them? and the other addons as well.

It depends on how you installed it.
If in the community folder: rename your community folder and restart the sim, a new empty one will be created and all your addons that were in the community folder will not be loaded.
If through Marketplace, then go to My Library, search for your addons and you’ll have an option to disable them.

for some reason I have 2 community folder don’t know why, I will delete one and rename de other one like you suggest it.

I’ve just experienced this issue myself today. Good to know that more than a year down the line, such things are being addressed.
