Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• yes - have noticed it myself.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• spawn cold and dark, start the aircraft, ensure GPU and Chocks removed and try to move. Something is preventing the aircraft from moving.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

I think the issue is that you need to remove the chocks twice. I just had this in the A330 - wont move even with the chocks removed during the walk around. Remove the (already showing removed) chocks in the EFB and she moves. Give it a go and let me know.

Not a fix, but I think I’ve worked out that the chocks can only be removed during the walkaround by clicking the wheels. Clearly, it would be great if the EFB could also toggle them, but so far I’m only able to remove them while doing a walkaround.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• YES

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Chocks removed externally and in EFB, still no movement. No thrust when throttles are moved forward.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Did you put the engine master in run? Or just in the feather position?

That may have been the case, I’ll have to check this extra carefully next time. Thanks for reminding me.

Check your key/hotas binding mapping.
I had this problem with A320neoV2, and I discovered that my Thrustmaster TCA quadrant had 2 axis mapped on…brake axis left and right.
I was braking without noticing it…

It was set to run.

Same case here. Thrutle forward, it shows that it is forward on the screen but propellers don’t accelerate, stay at 3,6%.

Edit : I was not set to Run…

How about :

  • turning it stay almost strait. Even with U turn mode On.
  • An alarm : Auto Thrt limited

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes, but only when spawned into a cold weather location. I.e the temperature is below 0c.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• It seems to be releated to cold weather conditions, happens from cold and dark or when starting on a runway. Not sure about the exact cut off value, managed to get power and moving at .

  1. Spawn in cold and dark at any cold weather location where the current temperature is below -7c or more, or set custom weather to be BELOW -7c or more.
  2. Start up Aircraft (Battery, APU, Engines, Remove Chocks and Parking Brake)
  3. Throttle up, notice throttles moving in plane, PWR % remains at 3.6% and aircraft will not move.
  4. Throttle back and let the PWR % settle to 3.6%.
  5. Open the weather window and change temperature to be ABOVE 0c.
  6. Throttle up, notice throttles moving in plane, PWR % increases and aircraft moves.
  7. Open the weather window and change temperature to be BELOW -7c
  8. Throttle up, notice throttles moving in plane, PWR % remains at 3.6% and aircraft will not move.

This can also be replicated by spawning on a runway with the airplane by using the same steps except for step 1.

  1. Spawn on a runway at any cold weather location where the current temperature is below -7c or more, or set custom weather to be BELOW -7c or more.
  2. Complete steps 3-8 above.

Can I please ask those of you reporting this issue to check whether your engines are in the RUN or FEATHER position? When you start the engines on the A400M they will initially go to the FEATHER position, which is where I am seeing users saying their PWR is stuck at 3.6%. Please advance the engine fuel selectors below the throttle quadrant to the RUN position for all four engines, before ensuring that the chocks are removed in walk around mode, and that the parking brake is released to see if you’re able to start taxiing!

Thanks
The MSFS Team

Affirm, they are in the run position.

I updated my original post with a video as well for the issue. Can be found here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AA_ZLEd-GDk

Add thrust issue too. OAT -3, but once I raised it above freezing the engines worked great.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes and No, my aircraft will move. My issue with it is when the outside air temp is below freezing the engines will NOT respond to any throttle inputs.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• Spawn anywhere with the OAT being less than freezing, startup like normal, attempt to throttle up but it will not work. The engines then become “AVAIL” after I increased the temperature outside to above a freezing temperature.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

I am encountering this bug too, it seems to happen randomly. Sometimes its fine, sometimes it occurs.

I think its occuring when the outside temp is below -1C

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• yes same issue, even selecting in the EFB the take off state

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• problem occurs with real weather and négative températures outside

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Can confirm the bug is connected to cold temperatures.
Setting the temperature above 40 (+10 C) “fixed” it.
